LINSANITY began one year ago to date, February 4th 2012, When the Knicks fell behind 30-20 at the end of the first quarter to the  New Jersey Nets and then coach Mike D’Antoni had no choice but put in his third-string point guard for the first time all year. Right then and there -Linsanity was born.

However the filming of “LINSANITY ” began over four years ago. Director Evan Jackson Jeong says that “What began as a film project to document the life of an overlooked NBA walk-on became our all-access pass to one of the unlikeliest stories ever to be told.” Although today Jeremy Lin is a Houston Rocket and no longer a Knick, and his books, T-shirts, and bobble heads are either collectibles or probably worth nothing , the film “LINSANITY” received a standing ovation at Sundance Film Festival.

If you want to see the beginnings of  Jeremy Lin before and up to the start of Linsanity, check out the “LINSANITY ” Kickstarter in which producers are hoping to raise more funds to finish and promote this independent film (10 days left).
