SUBMISSION FAQs
Film Festival entries must be submitted on NTSC DVD. Foreign films must be dubbed in English or presented in their original language with English language subtitles.
In addition to your entry, please enclose film synopsis, film stills, press release, etc. any press kits, reviews, or publicity materials if available.

How do I submit a film?
1. Log on to our Dropbox page https://dropbox.yousendit.com/THEPEOPLESFILMFESTIVAL and follow the instructions for entry.

We will notify all filmmakers via e-mail once their film has arrived and been processed. For this reason, an e-mail address is REQUIRED with your submission.
2. Send us a clearly labeled DVD for review, per the instruction on the submission form. Don’t forget to include your name, film title, film ID number (see submission form) and contact information on all submitted materials. A Press Kit, including is strongly encouraged.
All films should have been produced after January 2009.

What running time do you consider a feature film or short film?
Do you accept works in progress and rough cuts?
Can I send in an updated version of a submission I already sent in?
What should I include with my submission?
An e-mail address is required with your submission along with a contact name and title.
If your film is accepted we will need a press kit and digital still photos from your film if available.
Do not send a film copy with “FOR SCREENING PURPOSES ONLY” protectors. If your film is selected, your preview submission copy will be used for exhibition screening. Also, please do not send us your master copy.
What kinds of films do you accept?
Are there any films the festival will not accept?
Films/videos that have received national U.S. network television airing (including cable) prior to the Festival are not eligible.
Films/videos that are available for viewing on the internet are not eligible.
Will screeners be returned once decisions are made?

Winners will be announced during the “People’s Media Awards” on Saturday, June 1, 2013.
SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION:
When will decisions be made?
ALL Filmmakers will be notified via HIGH PRIORITY e-mail about final decisions. If no e-mail address is provided, no notification will be sent.
The Peoples Film Festival Selection Committee makes Programming decisions. If accepted, we will notify filmmakers by email. After acceptance, the presentational format must be received prior to April 1, 2013. Be sure to indicate any special screening/presentation information. We do not pay rental fees for submitted work that is accepted.
What If My Film Is NOT Selected?
Does TPFF have any premiere policies?
Submissions may NOT be withdrawn from The People’s Film Festival once they have been entered, except at the sole discretion of The People’s Film Festival.
Can I submit multiple films?
Each entry must be accompanied by a completed entry form. Print two copies, one for yourself and one to enclose with each film sent.

AGREEMENTS
Submission of your work confirms that the People’s Film Festival has permission to exhibit your film(s) during the Festival and/or at any other Festival event. Submission of a work implies that the Festival can employ moving image excerpts and reproduce stills for exhibition promotion. Credit will be given to any filmmaker, screenwriter and/or game developer if such material is used in Festival promotion. Original copyright holder retains all rights to their work.
TPFF reserves the right to make any necessary changes in event scheduling or programming. The selection committees’ decisions are final. All responses by The People’s Film Festival (TPFF) will be made by email.
TPFF SUBMISSION ENTRY FEES
Payment for film submissions should be made in US dollars and by PayPal. A completed entry form and an entry fee must accompany each film.
