The People’s Film Festival welcomes Floridita’s of Harlem New York, as a key sponsor for this years film festival!
Harlem’s original Floridita bar restaurant brings its authentic Cuban cuisine back to Harlem and to the People’s Film Festival. Established in 1969, this Harlem staple has returned to the delight of all. Forced to relocate by Columbia University’s eminent domain expansion in the neighborhood after 34 years, owner Ramon Diaz has brought Floridita back with its same high quality menu, delicious food, live music and friendly atmosphere. While the location is new, elements of the original restaurant are evident – 27 out of 43 employees from his original location were retained and the menu and prices are the same! So if you want a taste of old Cuba and old Harlem , come on out to Floridita for breakfast , lunch or dinner and to the People’s Film Festival 2013.
